Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose mystery: Family portraits found in Lucknow, was he Gumnami Baba?
Out Of Many Things Recovered, A Family Portrait, A Photograph Of Netaji's Parents, Jankinath Bose And Prabhawati Bose Were Discovered In A Box At Gumnami Baba’s House Where He Spent The Final Three Years Of His Life, From 1982 To '85.
For several years, many believed that Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was living incognito as Gumnami Baba in Uttar Pradesh's Faizabad district. But the mystery turned deeper on Wednesday when some old photographs of Netaji was retrieved from Gumnami Baba’s home.
Out of many things recovered, a family portrait, a photograph of Netaji's parents, Jankinath Bose and Prabhawati Bose were discovered in a box at Gumnami Baba’s house where he spent the final three years of his life, from 1982 to '85. In the family photograph of the Bose family shows 22 members besides his parents.
All those standing in the picture (from left to right) in the top row of the photograph are Sudhir Chandra Bose, Satish Chandra Bose, Sarat Chandra Bose, Suresh Chandra Bose, Sunil Chandra Bose and Subhas Chandra Bose.
In the middle row, Jankinath Bose and Prabhawati Bose are seen sitting with their three daughters. The bottom row consists of photographs of grandchildren of Jankinath Bose.
