No issue in this age of social media can be better conveyed than delineating it through a social media post. With humour and passion infused, the effort is likely to garner attention and at most of the occasions, success. Bengaluru’s potholes too required an attention of same sort as Baadal Nanjundaswamy, a street artist famous for drawing attention of the civic bodies towards problem of potholes, at his quirky best did something which has stormed the social media. This time, he did this by creating a ‘moonwalk’ scene on the dilapidated road of the city. Nanjundaswamy made theatre actor Poornachandra Mysore do a ‘moonwalk’ on the streets of Bengaulru. Dressed in space suit, the actor appears cautiously walking, as an astronaut would slouch at Moon’s surface, taking care of all space constraints. Seconds after he starts ‘moonwalk’, an auto crosses by the other side of the road and then the camera zooms out to cover the whole panorama. The display of crater-filled street of Bengaluru like Moon’s surface is exemplary and is being appreciated widely. Nanjundaswamy posted the video on his Facebook account with a caption ‘Hello BBMP Commissioner’, which went viral in the social media. The Bengaluru artist is being lauded by the social media users for his effort. His ‘moonwalk’ has been a sensation and is likely to contribute to the cause.

Here are some witty reactions from the social media users-

No, we should apply Guinness world record for most number of potholes in 1 kilometer road

— Prudhvi Ram Potta (@Prudhvi_Ram_P) September 2, 2019 Lol it's going to be "Bad Roads Moon Walk Challenge", it should be incorporated under the aegis of ' Smart Cities Project'. — seshagiri b.v (@seshagiribv) September 2, 2019

Interestingly, the video of ‘moonwalk’ has surfaced when Indian Space Research Organisation’s Chandrayan 2 is set to land on the south pole of the moon on September 7.
