Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2019: CM Raghubar Das Along With These 4 Key Candidates Get Setback
The JMM-led three party alliance in Jharkhand got the majority. The JMM (30), Cogress (15) and RJD (1) combine was leading in 47 of the 81 state assembly seats, while the ruling BJP nominees were ahead in 25, as per the latest trends. Here, we have listed down some of the prominent names who lost in the Jharkhand assembly elections.
Raghubar Das BJP lost to Independent candidate Saryu Rai by 15,815 votes from Jamshedpur East.
Congress candidate Gourav Vallabh also lost to Independent candidate Saryu Rai by 54,899 votes from Jamshedpur East.
BJP’s Louis Marandi lost to JMM's Hemant Soren by 13,188 votes from Dumka constituency seat.
Mahua Maji JMM Ranchi lost to BJP’s Chandreshwar Prasad Singh by 5,953 votes from Ranchi seat.
AJSU’s Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu lost to JMM’s Ramdas Soren by 31,502 votes from Ghatsila seat
