BARC TRP ratings week 28 2018 Naagin 3 tops the chart Kundali Bhagya kumkum bhagya TMKOC Indian Idol on a roll
With another Thursday upon us serial buffs are waiting eagerly for the BARC/TRP rating of their favourite television shows. The top 10 charts for week 28 is out and it has seen quite a few changes with two new shows in the house. While Sony TV’s much-loved singing reality show Indian Idol has found a place in the top 10 charts within days of inception, Dil Hai Hindustani, the new Star Plus show is yet to enter the list. Talking about the pecking order of the General Entertainment Channels (GECs), Sony Sab has moved up to the second spot, while Colors TV and Zee TV have been maintaining their glorious first and third place respectively. Without any further elaboration, now let's have a look at the top 10 chart of your favourite television shows.
Naagin 3 is in no mood to slip down the TRP ladder and have been making people drool over its exciting storylines over the weeks. Featuring 'Qubool Hai' actress Surbhi Jyoti as the protagonist, the supernatural soap has claimed the number 1 spot on the TRP chart yet again in week 28. The new season, which first hit the screens on June 2, has telecasted some nail-biting episodes to woo its audiences again and again.
The unfortunate and sudden demise of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma actor Kavi Kumar Azaad aka Dr. Hathi has failed to dampen the spirit of the entire cast and crew. The Sony Sab show, which last week was popping way below the TRP chart, has jumped to the number two spot in week 28. It seems like viewers were desperate to catch a last glimpse of Azad and stay tuned with Sab TV over the week. Azaad, who won a million of hearts with his remarkable performance in TMKOC, left for his heavenly abode on July 12.
Kundali Bhagya, the popular Zee TV show is doing wonders in week 28 as well. Featuring Dheeraj Dhoopar and Shraddha Arya in pivotal roles, the romantic drama has retained the third spot, it claimed in week 27. The Ekta Kapoor show, which is a spin off of another Zee TV soap Kumkum Bhagya, has not lost its charm even after completing a year this July. The on-screen chemistry of lead pair Karan and Preeta kept the viewers hooked on to their television sets over the months.
After weeks of absence in the list of top five shows, Kumkum Bhagya is back in the trend. The Sriti Jha and Shabbir Aluwalia starrer, which was awarded with number eight position last time, has jumped to the fourth place in week 28. The dramatic plot and a series of unexpected twists helped the soap win over hearts of millions.
Zee TV is simply dominating the BARC rating chart and cannot stop gushing over the success of its daily soaps. Starring Adnan Khan and Eisha Singhhe in key roles, Ishq Subhan Allah, has moved up to number 5 posiiton in week 28. The simple but unique storylines of the new Zee TV show has made it rocking the TRP chart within months of inception. The love-hate relationship between Kabeer and Zara is the USP of the soap.
Colors TV's popular dance reality show, Dance Deewane has slipped down the TRP ladder. Having legends like Madhuri Dixit, Shashank Khaitan and Tushar Kalia in the judges panel, the television reality show was enjoying the glorious number 2 spot in week 27 and slipped down to number 6 in the latest chart.
Star Plus's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is the another show, which has witnessed a deterioration in the BARC TRP chart. While some breathtaking episodes featuring lead pair Kartik and Naira has moved the show up to number 4, the latest TRP chart has featured the show at number 7.
Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, the heart melting Star Plus show is on a roll with a few breathtaking episodes over the week. The popular family drama, which revolves around the life of a seven-year-old has found the number 8 spot in the week 28 chart.
Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki is retaining its number nine position in the week 28 chart as well. The Colors TV show featuring Vivian Dsena-Rubina Dilaik in the lead, stresses on the ups and downs of Shakti and her family.
Days long wait has come to an end, as Sony TV's much entertaining singing reality show is back on the screen. The season 10 is a bit more special, as it has witnessed singer Neha Kakkar in the honourable judges' panel. Neha's appearance is significant as she had previously rocked the show as a participant. The new season is already doing wonders in the top 10 charts and is set to raise the bar with some impressive talent and their inspiring stories as well.
