Game of Thrones: Journey of Missandei of Nath from being Danaerys bestie to embracing brutal end
Missandei, originally a slave who served as an interpreter to the masters of Astapor met with her tragic end on the Season 8, episode 4, “The Last of the Starks’’ of GOT. An ever-loyal Daenerys Targaryen's friend, confidante, and sometime translator met her end bravely with a cry of 'Dracarys!' Mourning the departure of some of our favourite characters following the Battle of Winterfell with Jorah Mormont, dragon Rhaegal, Theon Greyjoy and now Missandei’s death, we look back at some of the better times of her when she first appeared in the 2013’s Valar Dohaeris to her death:
Freed by Daenerys, Missandei served as the Mother of Dragon’s trusted advisor and handmaiden.
Missandei acted as an interpreter between her master Kraznys mo Nakloz and Daenerys when she lands on Astapor with the intent to buy Unsullied.
Missandei not only worked with Daenerys but also with Tyrion, Grey Worm, and Varys to maintain the Queen's peace in the city.
The last time we saw the happy times of Missandei and Grey Worm was when they rode beside each other during Targaryen entourage's route through the winter town.
Missandei’s final word, shouted as a message to her leader, was ‘’dracarys’’.
