Padmaavat – One of the most controversial films in recent times is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. The movie was scheduled to release last year but due to massive protest from the Rajput community the release of the flick was postponed. In the movie, Ranveer’s performance as Allauddin Khilji received huge accolades for his roles.
Bajirao Mastani – The 2015 release and another Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial Bajirao Mastani was one of the highest grossing films of all time. The movie churned out more than Rs 250 crore at the domestic box-office and more than Rs 100 crore overseas.
Goliyon Ki RasLeela – Ram Leela – Ranveer Singh’s first flick TO CROSS Rs 100 crore mark and again Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial venture Ram-Leela. The movie was made with a huge budget of around Rs 90 crore and managed to earn more than Rs 150 crore at the Indian box-office and around Rs 50 crore in overseas, making the lifetime business of more than Rs 200 crore.
