Smoking is one of the most addictive and toxic habits that anyone can fall prey to and our favourite stars are also not immune to the same. However, there are a few celebs who with their patience, determination and self-motivation quit smoking and started leading a healthy lifestyle.
Hrithik Roshan: Hrithik Roshan failed five times before he could finally kick the butt. The Super 30 star read Alan Carr’s 'Easy Way to Stop Smoking', and smoked his last cigarette before he finished the book.
Saif Ali Khan: The Nawab of Bollywood has himself confessed many a times that he was a chain smoker. Saif almost lost his life to heart attack, when he decided to quit smoking and as well as abstain from drinking alcohol.
Ranbir Kapoor: Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor became a non-smoker after a bet with director Anurag Basu to not smoke on the sets of Barfi. His mother, Neetu Kapoor also encouraged him to refrain from this bad habit.
Konkana Sen Sharma: One of the most talented actresses of Bollywood, Konkana Sen Sharma was a regular smoker. It all stopped when Konkana was pregnant with her baby. She was also quoted saying, ''The pregnancy meant a complete change in lifestyle. I used to be a smoker, overnight I couldn’t smoke or drink at all.”
Aamir Khan: There’s no denying the fact that Aanir Khan is a doting father and he cut down on smoking on his kids’ Junaid and Ira’s insistence. After Azad’s birth in 2011, Aamir Khan initiated a healthier phase in his life.
Salman Khan: Bollywood’s Bhaaijaan, Salman Khan, who was a chain smoker, decided to quit smoking after undergoing a treatment for Trigeminal neuralgia, also known as the suicide disease.
