These 5 actors REFUSED Abhishek Bachchan’s role in Delhi 6, read here
Abhishek Bachchan has come a long way since his Bollywood debut with JP Dutta’s Refugee in 2000. Over the years, Junior B has proved that there’s no one like him when it comes to versatility and mind-boggling acting skills. He might have made some really bad choices in his film career, but he has also starred in films that were refreshingly different. Undoubtedly, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Delhi 6 was surely one of them. The film might not have been a huge success at the box-office, but Abhishek’s performance in the film did capture millions of hearts. However, before Abhishek gave his nod to the film, the role was offered to other actors as well. Here are the celebs who passed on that opportunity to play Abhishek’s role in Delhi 6.
Hrithik Roshan: Hrithik Roshan was the first choice for the Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra directorial. However, he turned down the film owing to date problems. He was busy shooting for Jodha Akbar at that time.
Akshay Kumar: After Hrithik, the role was offered to Akshay Kumar. He also backed out of the project for unknown reasons.
Ranbir Kapoor: Ranbir was also approached for the film opposite Sonam Kapoor. For the uninitiated, Sonam and Ranbir made their Bollywood debut with Saawariya in 2007. This would have been his second collaboration with Sonam. However, it was probably because of his reported break up with the actress that he rejected the offer to work with her in Delhi-6.
Imran Khan: Imran Khan was approached for the film but he also rejected the film for unknown reasons.
