Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in Tamil Nadu’s Mahabalipuram for a two-day informal summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping, began his morning with a special message — Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. On Saturday morning, PM Modi promoted 'plogging' by cleaning Mamallapuram beach for almost 30 minutes. He also took a refreshing walk and exercised on the beach.

Clad in a black kurta-pajama, PM Modi took to plogging at Mamallapuram beach and called on people to "ensure our public places are clean and tidy. The exercise lasted over 30 minutes.
