In Pics: Uddhav Thackeray Takes Oath As CM Of Maharashtra Along With Six Ministers
Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday sworn-in as the new Maharashtra chief minister in a glittering ceremony at Mumbai's Shivaji Park. The oath to Thackeray was administered by Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. Thackeray, 59, became the third Sena leader after Manohar Joshi and Narayan Rane and first from his family to occupy the top post.
Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde also took oath as Cabinet minister.
Another Shiv Sena leader Subhash Desai took oath in the Thackeray Cabinet.
NCP Leader Jayant Patil took oath as Cabinet minister in the Thackeray Cabinet.
Another NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal took oath as Cabinet Minister.
From Congress, Balasaheb Thorat sworn-in as the minister during the cermenoy.
Nitin Raut from Congress also took oath as Cabinet Minister.
