Hugh Jackman Logan Wolverine Happy Birthday Some of the most remarkable roles of Mr.Wolverine
He is the avenging mutant, the werewolf, the magician, the time traveller, the ideal lover he is Hugh Jackman. This Australian born actor, producer can bounce you back any role or any genre you hurl at him with his racket of talent. And apart from being one of the most successful actors in Hollywood, he is also known to be as one of the humblest. As he turns 50 today, we wish this Gift of a person a very Happy Birthday and turn back the pages of some of his roles he has contributed the entertainment world.
Van Helsing- This movie has Bram Stoker’s Count Dracula, Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, RL Stevenson’s Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, you couldn’t ask for more a more ‘monster-centric’ movie i.e if you are a fan of one. With the monster-hunter Van Helisng in the fabled vampire place of Transylvania beating on the nocturnal baddies in his brim hat, trench-leather coat strapped with weapons Hugh Jackman makes the typical hero look like they were born yesterday.
Les Misérables- An adaptation of Vicor Hugo’s Les Misérables, this movie has a cup full of the most talented actors. Winning a pile of Golden Globes and picking up eight Oscar nominations, this Victor Hugo’s masterpiece will have you take into the long-suffering Jean Valjean world of the 19th century France. Not only did Hugh Hackman morphed into the character, he will have you believe how he still hasn’t had his singing album out yet.
The Prestige- Hugh Jackman is himself magical but as a magician he is even better. Starring opposite Christian Bale as his rival magician, The Prestige has plots hinging on a series of progressively more impulsive twists and turns. In the world of illusions and magic, Hugh Jackman’s character as Robert Angier the magician will have you scratching your head between fact and fiction.
Logan- Admit it, when Yukio predicted the death of Logan, you didn’t want to believe it and neither did we. As his final role as the Wolverine, Logan is like any other superhero movie there is. There is Logan in his worn-out state tired yet human state. Logan must be undoubtedly the only superhero movie that have fans exiting the hall feeling gut-wrenched.
The Fountain- ‘’Death is a disease like any other and I will find the cure’’. One of the least seen movies of Hugh Jackman, the movie oscillates between the present life, the past and the future with a somewhat spiritual edges. With superlative scenes of art, image and screen display, Darren Aronofsky’s, The Fountain asks the most unanswered fundamental question of life such as life itself, death, and the one man’s eternal struggle to save the woman he loves.
