Aero India 2019 Day 1 Amazing air show begins in Bengaluru
The biggest air show in Asia, Aero India 2019 began at the Indian Air Force’s Yelahanka station on Wednesday. Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman inaugurated the air show on February 20 which showcased aerospace majors and their technologies and products which includes helicopters, fighter jets and transport aircrafts.
The Sukhoi SU-30, Rafale, F-16 Fighting Falcon, F/A-18 Super Hornet and the mighty B-52 Stratofortress bomber featured in the air show. Ahead of air show, an Indian Air Force pilot lost his life after two Surya Kiran planes collided mid-air during rehearsals.
The 12th edition of Asia’s biggest air show is a five-day long event and will exhibit India’s defence power to the world.
Rafale fighter jet made the supersonic entry at the ongoing Aero India show with thrilling sortie. All eyes were fixated in the sky as the fighter jet flew over the Yelahanka station in Bengaluru
As per the Aero India official website, a total of 61 aircraft will be showcased and 403 exhibitors will embrace the day 5 of the air show.
