Delhi Mercury drops following overnight rain in National capital bring respite from scorching heat

Residents in the national capital woke up to a cool morning following overnight rains. The city recorded the minimum temperature at 24.5 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average, a MeT department official said.
The humidity level was recorded at 74 per cent at 8.30 am. Delhi gauged 4.4 mm of rainfall between 5.30 pm on Friday and 8.30 am.

The weather man has predicted overcast conditions with thunder storm and rain in the evening. The maximum temperatureis likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
