From Surya Kiran to MiG 27, here are some of horrendous fighter plane crashes in India
An aircraft of IAF's aerobatic team Surya Kiran crashed near the Yelahanka airbase on Tuesday, a day before the opening of the Aero India show. The mishap occurred during a sortie as part of the rehersal for the five-day Asia's premier Air show in Bengaluru.

The MiG 27 jet was flying on a training mission when it crashed at around 6:10 pm near the Pokhran range. The MiG 27 had taken off from the Jaisalmer Air Force Station. The pilot managed to eject safely.
