IN Pics: IAF chief BS Dhanoa reviews Combined Graduation Parade at Air Force Academy
Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa, Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee and Chief of the Air Staff, was the Reviewing Officer for the Combined Graduation Parade Spring Term - 2019 at Air Force Academy, Dundigal, Hyderabad.
Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa conferred the ‘President’s Commission’ on behalf of the Hon’ble President of India to the graduating Flight Cadets from AFA.
152 cadets were awarded the President’s Commission as they passed through the portals of the Academy parade ground.
Flying Officer GNK Reddy was awarded, CAS Sword of Honour for standing first in overall merit in the Pilots’ Course. Flying Officer Suprabh Saxena & Flying Officer Renu Yadav were awarded President’s Plaque for being first in overall merit in Navigation & Ground Duty branches.
Chief of the Air Staff reviewed the parade and addressed the graduating course wherein he complimented the cadets on their exceptional drill standards and impeccable turn out.
A total of 152 flight cadets, including 24 women, graduated as Flying Officers of the IAF. The flight cadets, who were commissioned, include a woman, named Anjali, in fighter branch.
