Kerala Rescue Operations: These pictures will melt your heart
On one hand, where Kerala is ravaging through the disastrous effects of torrential rains and relentless floods, many rescue operations are managing to help people and provide them with a ray of hope. The Indian armed forces, as well as civilians, are shedding every ounce of their sweat to support the marooned people in Kerala. The compassionate and humane cause has united people from different communities, religions, races or social status, and brought them together to fight the calamities of nature. Volunteers in Kerala have taken up the task to collect and distribute flood relief materials to the flood affected people, including bread, medicines, sanitary pads, water bottles, food items, and others.

A community kitchen has been set up at Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT), Kalamassery by a team of 21 Navy personnel. The kitchen has provided 50000 meals over last 3 days to flood affected people, with support from students & local administration.
Indian Navy rescued 25-year-old pregnant woman and was rushed to Sanjivani multi-speciality hospital in Alappuzha. The operation was successful and the woman was blessed with a baby boy.
