PM Modi 21st Mann Ki Baat 5 Key points
Calling the 1975 emergency period a ‘black day’ for the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that he was "happy" that the people in India have always given priority to democracy. The Prime Minister said sometimes some people mock at his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme and even criticise it. This, he said, is possible because “we are committed to democracyâ€.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked people to declare their undisclosed income by September 30, making it clear that this is the last chance to avoid problems that will follow after the window of opportunity closes. He said no questions would be asked about the source of the undisclosed income or assets if the declaration is made voluntarily by September 30.
PM Modi also congratulated ISRO for its achievement of launching 20 satellites in a single stroke, and expressed pride over the SATYABAMASAT and SWAYAM, the microsatellites built by the students of Chennai's Satyabama University and Pune's College of Engineering respectively.
PM Modi, speaking on the 21st edition of 'Mann Ki Baat' also highlighted the success of the International Day of Yoga events across the world. Yoga has the power to connect the entire world, if only each one of us connect ourselves with Yoga," he added.
Moreover, PM also expressed pride over the first batch of three women fighter pilots. He expressed pride over the fact that none of them were from the metro cities, or even the capitals of their respective states.
