Tata Motors launched Tigor compact sedan All you need to know
Tata Motors has unveiled another variant to its recently-launched Tigor compact sedan range in India. The new Tata Tigor XM is priced at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and has been placed between the base variant Tigor XE and the higher-spec XT trims. The Tigor XM shares the same engine specifications as its siblings.
The 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.0-litre diesel engine options have been mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. As far as equipment goes the Tigor XM gets manual central locking with key, all four power windows, speed-sensitive auto door locks, follow me home lamps, an LED fuel gauge, full fabric seats, interior lamp with theater dimming function and full wheel covers.
The Tata Tigor range in India starts at Rs 4.58 lakh for the base XE petrol, going up to Rs 6.87 lakh for the top-spec diesel XZ (O) trim. Key rivals to the Tigor include the Hyundai Xcent, Maruti Dzire, Ford Aspire and the Volkswagen Ameo.
Indian auto major Tata Motors launched its compact sedan Tigor in Nepal at a starting price of NPR 23.45 lakh.
The petrol variants of Tata Tigor gets 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and the diesel variants hosts the 15-inch alloy wheels.
