Hockey World League Semi Final Skipper Rani Rampals notable achievements in career
2. Rani played in the Champion's Challenge Tournament held in Kazan, Russia in June 2009 and powered India to a win by scoring 4 goals in the finals.
With their eyes set on a berth the Indian women's team led by striker Rani Rampal will leave on Sunday for the Hockey World League Semi-Final in Johannesburg, starting July 8. The 18-member Indian team led by striker Rani has been training in New Delhi for the last six days before leaving for the World Cup Qualifier.

1. At the age of 15, Rani Rampal was the youngest player in the national team which participated in the 2010 World Cup.
3. Rani was also adjudged the 'Player of the Tournament' at the 2013 Junior World Cup which India finished with a bronze medal.
4. Rani Rampal played an instrumental role in winning the silver medal for the Indian team in the Asia Cup held in Nov 2009.
5.Rani was conferred the “Best Young Player of the Tournament” award at the Women's Hockey World Cup 2010
