Kidambi Srikanth: The only Indian shuttler with 4 Super Series win in a calendar year
Star Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth on Sunday defeated Japan’s Kenta Nishimoto 21-14, 21-13 to win the French Open Super Series men’s singles title. It was his 4th Super Series victory in a calendar year. Srikanth become the first Indian male Badminton player to win the coveted French Open title. He also become just only the fourth player to win four Super Series titles in a calendar year.

Srikanth displayed his magical skills on the badminton court to trounce reining Olympic and World champion China's Chen Long 22-20, 21-16 in men's singles final and win the coveted Australian Open Super Series title.
Indian badminton star Kidambi Srikanth won the Indonesia Open by defeating Kazumasa Sakai in the final of the men’s singles event with a score of 21-11, 21-19. Srikanth had earlier defeated World No 1 Son Wan-Ho to enter the final of the premier tournament.
