Rahul Dravid has faced the maximum number of deliveries in Test Cricket. In 286 Test innings, Dravid has played 31,258 balls, scoring 13,288 runs.
The right handed batsman is the only player in to score four consecutive hundreds in four Test innings
Dravid’s historic partnership with VVS Laxman of 376 runs against Australia in Kolkata in March 2001 was one of the best partnership in world cricket
Dravid took up the role of wicket kepper, when India could not afford one in place of a batsman, and proved to be one of the best wicket-keeper cum batsman India ever had.
The man from Karnataka is the ninth highest run-scorer in ODI cricket and the third Indian batsman to score 10,000 runs or more in ODIs after Tendulkar and Ganguly.
Under Rahul’s captaincy, India won 14 consecutive Test matches and maintained a winning percentage of 62.16 percent in ODI matches.
In June 2015, Dravid was appointed as the coach for India's under-19 and India-A cricket teams.
