From Reliance Jio to Bharti Airtel, here's a compilation of data plans by top telcos
After Reliance Jio’s entry in the Indian telecom market, a flood of cheap data and calling plans have struck the users. Some are giving unlimited calls while others are offering data on throw away prices. And it’s quite confusing to choose a particular connection over other. So, to end this confusion, here is the compilation of plans of top network providers for both calling and internet surfing.
Bharti Airtel offers data plans from Rs 244 to Rs 549 which include free calls and data packs with different FUP limits. The Rs 244 plan provides unlimited calls within the network along with 1 GB data per day for 70 days. The Rs 399 plan offers unlimited calls upto 300 minutes a day and 1200 minutes a week along with 1 GB data per day for 56 days. Whereas the Rs 349 and Rs 549 plans offer 1 GB data per day for 28 days and 1.25 GB data per day on 4G handsets for 28 days respectively and are topped with unlimited calls upto 300 minutes a day and 1200 minutes a week.
Idea Cellular’s Rs 347 plan offers 1 GB 2G/3G data per day for 70 days along with unlimited calls that is capped at 300 minutes a day and 1200 minutes a week.
BSNL: Govt run Bharat Snachar Nigam Limited provides Rs 333, Rs 444 and Rs 666 plans under their data services.
Reliance Jio: Reliance Jio changed their data plans as Jio’s Dhan Dhana Dhan offer comes to an end. The new offer ranges from Rs 309 plan to Rs 509 plan which includes unlimited calls and SMS. The Rs 309 plan offers 1 GB data every day for 56 days, the Rs 349 plan offers 20 GB data for 56 days, the Rs 399 plan gives 1 GB data per day for 84 days and the Rs 599 plan offers 2 GB data every day for 56 days.
Vodafone offers two data plans Rs 257 plan and Rs 352 plan, that come with 300 minutes of free calls per day and 1200 minutes a week. The Rs 257 plan offers 2 Gb 3G/4G data for 28 days and the Rs 352 plan offers 1 GB data everyday for 28 days. Vodafone doesn’t offer free SMSs with these plans.
