Triumph's latest Bonneville Bobber launched in India over Rs 9 lakh
The wiring is intelligently hidden in the new bike. The dual throttle bodies are disguised as vintage carburettors, the single clock and relocated ignition switch keeps things neat and tidy on the handlebar.
Triumph’s Bonneville Bobber has been launched in India at Rs. 9.9 lakh. The design of the bike is inspired from the stripped down ‘bobber’ bikes which were quite popular in the 1940’s. Bonneville Bobber has the classic Brit-bike lines.
Bonneville Bobber has completely modern engine despite of its classic design.
Bonneville Bobber is based on Triumph Bonneville T120 as it took existing engine platform from T120 but visually they are quite different as it is transformed into completely new bike.
The bike has cage-like swingarm and a monoshock hidden under the seat.
The riding position is quite comfortable and friendly, handling is quite nimble for the type of motorcycle the Bobber offers. The 1200 cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine has been retuned for more power and more torque lower in the revs.
