Strong magnetic storm to hit earth on July 23 | Here's how it will affect you
A strong magnetic storm is set to hit the Earth on July 23, according to the Laboratory of the Radiant X-ray Astronomy Institute, Lebedev.
The magnetic storm is a temporary disturbance caused by a solar wind shock wave of the Earth's magnetosphere. It is also known as the solar storm. A strong magnetic storm results in disruption of Earth’s atmosphere. Its impact may remain from a few hours to a few days.
According to scientists -
1 Magnetic storm can adversely affect the working of electronic gadgets and radio broadcasts, GPS, ships, aeroplanes, submarines, radar, and intercontinental radio broadcasts.
2. Earth’s atmosphere also increases due to the magnetic storm leading to negative effects on the movement of the satellites.
3. It has an adverse impact on human life also, according to doctors. It may cause headaches, dizziness and sleep disturbances for some people across the globe.
4. It may also impact blood pressure.
