Astonishing! Voyager spacecraft revealing secrets of Universe since 40 years
Nasa Launched The Voyager 1 Spacecraft On September 5, 1977, And The Voyager 2 On August 20, 1977.
From the inception of life, humans are interested in the unknown and for the exploration of far flung regions of space, the famous agency NASA had sent two spacecraft Voyager 1 and 2.
They were sent 40 years back and to the amazement of the entire world, they are still sending information and images back to the earth.Nasa launched the Voyager 1 spacecraft on September 5, 1977, and the Voyager 2 on August 20, 1977.
During their 40 years of operation, they have sent numerous of images which helped to understand minute details of planets - the Great Red Spot, the swirling clouds and the rings of Saturn.
Voyager 1 became the only spacecraft to have entered interstellar space in 2012, and the Voyager 2 is the only spacecraft to have flown by all four outer planets – Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
They have set many records and one of them is their planetary encounters that include the discovery of the first active volcanoes beyond Earth – on Jupiter's moon Io – and the most Earth-like atmosphere in the solar system – on Saturn's moon Titan.
Voyager 1 left our solar system and now is about 13 billion miles away. Voyager 2 is close behind but on a different trajectory.
They have unveiled many wonders of the universe to human and are still doing a great job.
