Harivansh Rai Bachchan, father of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan was a noted Indian poet of the Nayi Kavita literary movement (romantic upsurge) of early 20th century Hindi literature. He was born in a Hindu Awadhi Indian Srivastava Kayastha family and breathed his last on January 18, 2003. On his 111th death anniversary, here we bring you some of his best poets which won hearts of millions.
