40 soldiers receive gallantry awards at army event in Pune

The Southern Command Lieutenant General SK Saini honoured 40 soldiers for their bravery and distinguished military service in Pune on Wednesday. During the event, awards for best Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) and best Records office have been given to jawans for their outstanding services. Some of the Sena Medals (Gallantry) were awarded to soldiers posthumously.
