Anna Hazare ends hunger strike after talks with Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis

Anna Hazare ended his hunger strike after seven days after talks with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister of State for Agriculture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. He launched an indefinite hunger strike on March 23 against the Centre for the setting up of Lokpal. Hazare had sat on a similar hunger strike in 2011 to demand the then UPA government for setting up a Lokpal to investigate corruption cases.
