Arun Jaitley did not accept berth in Modi cabinet 2.0 due to illness

Former Union finance minister and BJP stalwart Arun Jaitley passed away at Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Saturday. He was 66. Jaitley was admitted on August 9 after he complained of breathlessness and restlessness. The AIIMS had not issued any bulletin on Jaitley's health condition since August 10. Widely considered number 2 in Modi government, Jaitley did not accept ministry in the second inning of Modi due to his illness.
