Ashok Engine becomes the new pride of Rewa Loco Shed Heritage Museum

Ashok Engine, named after Emperor Asoka, was brought to Rewa Loco Shed in 1955 from Bhusawal. Rewa Loco Shed Heritage Museum is now 18 years old and is known for its unique collection of Steam Engines, including Sher-e-Punjab and Fairy Queen among others. Ashok Engine is currently being renovated and polished; and soon it will take its position back on the rails.
