Bank strike on Tuesday: 10 lakh officials to be part of protest, services will be affected

Ten lakh bank officials will go on a strike on Tuesday 22, resulting in the banking services being affected. The unions under United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) will go on a strike for protesting against the government’s consolidation move. Services in private sector banks like HDFC bank, ICICI bank and Axis bank are expected to be normal. Although there can be delay in the cheque clearances.
