Bharat Bandh: Normal life hit as trade unions protest against "anti-labour policies"

Central Trade Unions have launched a two-day Bharat bandh in protest against the government's alleged anti-worker policies and unilateral labour reforms. As many as 10 CTUs with at least 20 crore workers affiliated to them have joined the strike. The 48-hour-long national strike is likely to have a major impact in Left-dominated states of Kerala and West Bengal.
