Bihar: Woman beaten to death on suspicion of being witch

Superstition is considered to be a widespread social problem in India. It was evident again after a woman in Bihar's Madhubani was beaten to death by her neighbour, who accused her of being a witch. The incident took place hours after a boy died from a snake bite in Benipatti village of Madhubani district. The angry mob suspected that the woman had been practising witchcraft in the village and was responsible for the death of the boy.
