BJP breaks alliance with PDP in Jammu and Kashmir; demands Governor's rule in state

In a major political turn of events ahead of the 2019 general elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has pulled out of an alliance with the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Jammu and Kashmir. Holding Mehbooba Mufti responsible for the current unrest in the Valley, Madhav accused her of non-cooperation and demanded Governor's rule in the state.
