BSP supremo Mayawati took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘fakir’ statement in a rally in Lucknow on Tuesday. In the Parivartan rally in Moradabad on December 3, PM Modi had called himself a fakir and said he did not get bothered from criticization. Referring to his statement, Mayawati said that the demonetisation step of the Centre has rendered 90 percent of Indian population fakir and not PM Modi.
