BS Yeddyurappa takes oath as Karnataka CM, Congress protests outside Raj Bhawan

Bharatiya Janata Party leader B S Yeddyurappa was sworn in Chief Minister of Karnataka on Thursday, a day after the Governor Valubhai Vala invited the party to form government in the state. Congress holds a protest at Mahatma Gandhi's statue in Vidhan Soudha, against BS Yeddyurappa's swearing-in as CM of Karnataka. GN Azad, Ashok Gehlot, Mallikarjun Kharge, KC Venugopal and Siddaramaiah present.
