The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) tabled its audit report in the Delhi Assembly on Wednesday, which pointed out the failures of the Kejriwal government and showed how much work was pending in developing the national capital. The revenue receipt of the Delhi government fell by Rs 653.11 crore in 2016-17 as compared to the previous financial year because of the decrease in non-tax revenue and a shortfall of Rs 1,433.13 crore in grants from the Centre, stated the CAG report.
