CBSE Paper Leak: Students protest at Jantar Mantar

Following the CBSE’s announcement to re-conduct examinations for Class X and Class XII students due to paper leak, a group of students from different schools of Delhi gathered near Jantar Mantar to protest against the Board’s decision, saying it is their worst nightmare come true. On Wednesday, an announcement from the Board stated, “The board has taken cognizance of certain happenings in the conduct of certain examinations as are being reported. With the view to uphold the sanctity of the Board Examinations and in the interest of the fairness to the students, the Board has decided to re-conduct the examinations. Dates for fresh examinations and other details shall be posted on the CBSE website within a week.â€
