Chhattisgarh: BSF personnel killed in Naxal attack ahead of state Assembly polls

Just a day before the first phase of Assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, a BSF personnel was killed in an IED explosion triggered by Naxals. Sub-inspector Mahendra Singh was seriously injured when Naxals blew up the IED in a forest in Kanker district. Singh succumbed to injuries in a nearby hospital.
