Congress calls for Bharat Bandh against fuel price hike

The Congress party on Friday staged a massive protest against the Union government on the issue of rising fuel prices in the country. The Congress will hold a nationwide protest on September 10 against Petrol/Diesel price hike. The Opposition has already reached out to other parties to join them in this nationwide 'Bharat bandh'. The fuel prices across India shot to record high on Friday as the petrol prices were hiked by 55 paise in the business capital of India, Mumbai and petrol prices rose by 48 paise.
