Congress criticises Modi govt's move to intercept information on all PCs

According to a new home ministry order signed by Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba, 10 central agencies have been granted with powers of "interception, monitoring and decryption of any information generated, transmitted, received or stored in any computer". Criticising the move to authorise central agencies to intercept, monitor, decrypt information on all computers, the Opposition Congress said that after the recent defeat in Assembly elections, the Narendra Modi government was desperate for the information and thus turned into "stalker government"
