Countdown for Internatinal Yoga Day begins

The countdown for the ‘International Yoga Day’, scheduled to be held on June 21, has begun. Union minister Jitendra Singh, who also holds the youth affairs and sports portfolio, has said more than 1 lakh yoga programmes will be organised on the occasion of ‘International Yoga Day’. He said that his department and all the affiliated youth wings will be actively involved. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the main programme, which will be held in Chandigarh.
