Currency ban effect: Torn old notes of Rs 500, Rs1000 found in Ganga river in Mirzapur

Torn old notes of Rs 500 and 1000 were seen flowing in a river of Mirzapur. Seeing the pile of notes in the river water, fishermen and boatmen rushed to recover it. According to the locals, the torn notes were found in the wee hours. Lakhs of Rupees in the currency of Rs 500 and 1000 were seen in the river.
