Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday announced an immediate relief of Rs 1,000 crore for West Bengal after he held an aerial survey and assessed the devastation caused by Cyclone Amphan which claimed 72 lives on Wednesday. He also held review meetings with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar to discuss relief measures and took stock of the situation. #CycloneAmphan #PMModi #westBengal
