Cyclone Vayu: Strong wind hits Gujarat, 3 lakh evacuated

Strong wind with the speed up to 140-165 kmph has hit the coastal regions of Gujarat. The tropical cyclone will hit the Gujarat coast anywhere between Veraval in the south and Dwarka in the west. The cyclone is likely to affect Kutch, Morbi, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Rajkot, Amreli, Bhavnagar and Gir-Somnath districts. Over 3 lakh people have been evacuated and taken to safer places.
