Delhi becomes first Indian city to get ultra-clean Euro-VI grade fuel

In order to tackle the alarming level of air pollution in Delhi, the state-owned oil firms will supply ultra-clean Euro-VI grade diesel and petrol from Sunday. Delhi will become the first city in India to advance from Euro-IV grade petrol and diesel to Euro-VI. Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Pune are expected to switch over to the cleaner fuel from January 1, 2019.
