Delhi: Man Sets Bike Afire After Facing Rs 11,000 Fine

A man on Thursday set fire to his motorcycle after he was caught by traffic police for violating traffic norms. The man had been issued a challan for drunk driving at Triveni complex in Chirag Delhi. “As per the amended Motor Vehicles Act, he was challaned ₹10,000 for drunk driving and ₹1,000 for not wearing a helmet, but he created a ruckus and set his bike on fire,” said a traffic police officer.
