Delhi: People risk lives to click pictures at Signature Bridge
News Nation Bureau 10 November 2018, 10:59 AM
Delhiites are excited to visit the newly-opened Signature Bridge, built over Yamuna river at Wazirabad section of the national capital. The enthusiasm could have turned risky on Friday night after several people were seen standing on suspension cables to get their photos clicked. Announced in 2004, the bridge was inaugurated by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Built over river Yamuna, Signature Bridge will reduce the travel time between north and northeast Delhi. It will also share the traffic burden of the Wazirabad bridge. It will also offer a panoramic view of the city and have designated selfie spots.
