Delhi records hottest day of season at 38.8 degrees Celsius

With the arrival of March, intense heat has put millions of people at high risk for heat-related illness across India. From Kolkata to Delhi, several states throughout the country are on high alert for dangerous heat waves in coming months. However, on Tuesday, Delhi recorded the maximum temperature at 38.8 degrees Celsius, which is the highest of the season. The temperature is settled 6 degrees above the normal levels.
