India has deployed a large number of troops from Ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh along the border with China, amid tension over the LAC. Chinese soldiers tried to infiltrate Pangong Tso on the night of 29–30 August but were repulsed by the Indian Army. Congress spokesperson Surendra Rajput on China's snowfall said, "So far the PMO or PM has ever identified China as an enemy country?" Defense Minister Rajnath Singh claims that if an enemy comes to our border, we will chase. Till date, the Indian Army has never gone to encroach into anyone's country.
